Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

A voluntary self-regulatory register was opened in April 2011 under the governance of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Membership of the Acupuncture-Acutherapy Council is necessary to register with CNHC.

The College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy

Established in 1991 to set the highest standards of practice worldwide in herbal medicine. Phytotherapists ('phyto' means 'plant' in Greek) are dedicated herbal practitioners with specialist university training. The CPP ensures the highest quality research, education and practice, and exists to protect the public interest; continually monitoring its members as to their fitness to practise.
